John Buche specializes in civil litigation and intellectual property law. For more than two decades, Mr. Buche has assisted clients with patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret related matters.

As a registered patent attorney, Mr. Buche has successfully filed and secured patents for clients in a wide range of industries which include oil and gas, firearms, sports apparatus, medical devices, and software. As an established litigator and trial attorney, Mr. Buche has litigated dozens of intellectual property matters across the country in state and federal courts. Such matters have included jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, contempt hearings, Markman hearings, injunctions, restraining orders, a wide variety of motion hearings, opposition & cancellation proceedings at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (“TTAB”), and patent challenges at the Patent Trial & Appeal Board (“PTAB”).

Taking a fairly unusual career path, outside of his intellectual property practice, for over twenty years, John has been a steadfast advocate for victims of serious personal injuries. He enjoys this work because it is morally redeeming and enriches all aspects of his civil litigation and trial practice.
